I'm looking at a pair of 243 heads off of a 5.3l. The guy selling them wants $450 it comes with the rocker assembly and valve covers. Is it a good deal? I want to drop him to $300 if I could. Thanks for the input.

 

A smart guy won't sell all that for $300.

He could get $450 for the heads all day, valve covers are $50 and rockers easily $125 or so. I would ****** all that up quickly at that price before he realizes he could get alot more for them somewhere else.

 

I think I paid $350 for a set of heads that just got removed from a V. No valve covers or rockers were included. Just the heads, stock springs & valves.

 

Oops. I ment to say $400. Okay so you think they are a good deal. Thanks guys I'll probably get them then.

 

Wish I coulda saw those.. Everyone try's to pay like 250 for them. 400 Is a great price
