LS1 with Te-Rex Camshaft Dear all ls1 tech participants i would like to be a member with your comity , hope to add some values to yours and gain from your experiences.
i would like to run a new project for drag race application 1/4 mile, ET 10 sec, i decide to run FOX body with LS1 stock bottom , heads,and Te-Rex cam shaft with A4 transmission and 4.56 rear end and 28 inch rear tiers
for the first time i use the Te-Rex camshaft i would like to Clarify certain points as following:
1- what are the recommended Valves spring for that Te-Rex camshaft?
2-What are the recommended Carb Intake for this application?
3- if you have more please feel free to share.

if you are putting a carb intake on it, put a carb cam in it by calling a couple places and get something spec for your build rather than an off the shelf max effort cam meant for plastic low profile intakes
what they said ^^^^ is probably what you should do, I built my motor around the t rex cam, its definitely not a daily driver cam, as it feels sluggish when you're just trying to take off on a green light while trying to sneak past a cop, but full throttle and keeping it above 3500rpm after shifts it feels pretty good,

I'd call Geoff at EPS and see what he says; he created that cam after all.
But, that can was made more on a "I bet you can't fit it in a 346" whim... There's much better cams out there, and he'll even tell you that.

Verdad Gallardo EPS makes an "off the shelf" single plane intake cam. I'd look into that as an option over the T-Rex.

T-Rex has IMO much too late of an intake valve close event for a carb style intake unless you want to turn it to the moon quite literally.
With a 6000rpm stall it would run it's cojones off though...
