Just picked up 2002 6.0 lq9 for my 79 Fairmont futura. Considering a mild carb build with Camaro manifolds. Would gm hot cam work with carb set up? What hp gains would there be from hot cam? I know I could go bigger, I already have polluter stage 3 lq4 in my 81 Fairmont futura.

 

It would run, but not be optimal. It is set up for a factory style intake manifold. Whole different set of cam parameters.

 

I could use my truck intake and keep fuel injection. Any ideas on hp gains over lq9 cam?
