Default Blower cam recommendations needed!

I am looking for the best blower cam on the market. It's going in a ls1 with 317 heads, d1sc procharger running about 10 lbs of boost, probably increased close to 15 psi In the future. Automatic car. Any suggestions? I would like it to still be streetable. I was looking at the tick performance stage 2 blower cam.

For a Daily driver? I would say LS9 cam. If u want lope, I would say Speed Inc. SC1 or SC2. If u want to go all out, I would say Brute speed blower cam, But I wouldent put it in my DD.

Any more than 10lbs on the stock bottom end youll need meth likely n. We have custom cams for your setup. They are $385 shipped. Let us know what you would like to do.

We have some nice comp lobes. A 227/236 .6xx/.6xx 114+1 would likely be a rather fun cam with an M6 or a stalled auto.
Any combo you want we can do

I'd go with mild cam lobes like the Cam Motion Blower cams have.

Why are the cam motion camshafts so much more expensive?

They are billet not a cast core like the comp cams. We have cammotion cams too, although right off the seat the cammotion cams do have more duration after advertised and before .050 in most cases over the comp lobes.
We can get you a good deal on them, just let us know.

There are plenty of comp cams that have good lift yet are soft on the valves. They put out roughly 5 designs in less than 2 years.

I got a brute speed cam be about the same as your build. Getting it tuned next week. currently running 7psi at 6000 but think the cam is good to 6500. Idle you can tell its cammed. has ok low end but picks up a lot after 3000. This could change after its tuned right.

The CTS-V below makes 400ft lbs of torque at just 2000 rpm at the rear tires. 864 rwhp with 12.4 psi of boost from an F-1A. Very street friendly combination that has been driven out of state on trips. Bob

All the Comp Cams cores we sell are 5160 billet steel. Cam Motion uses a 8620 billet steel core instead of 5160, but grinds their VVT cams on a 5160 billet steel core. To my knowledge no Comp LS cams are ground on cast cores.

I'd be glad to help you with a camshaft. The ramp rates on all of our cams intended for boost applications are nice and mild. Lobe lift is not the tell all when it comes to how aggressive a lobe is.

I got in a hurry and put that. My apologies. I knew they were both billet and the difference as im pretty sure both of us have talked to kip at length about the difference.

I used bob's forced induction cam and i'm happy so far. Sounds great and propelled my 3300lb car to 10.18 @134mph ON JUST 7PSI!
