HELP needed asap - cam ICLdegree off
HELP needed asap - cam ICLdegree off My cam card shows to install at 114° ICL. The cam is 116+2 234/238 dur .612/.615 lift 116LSA. But after Degreeing the cam that I just installed, I come up with it at 120° ICL currently. I am coming up with 62° at .050 before max lift and 178° at .050 after max lift. I am positive that I have my degree wheel is showing exactly top dead center when I begin. I'm using a lifter bore dial gauge to find my degree marks at .050 before and after max lift too.
My first question really is, is it really possible to be 6° off? I've never had one degree in more than a degree or two off from the cam card.
My second question is what is the best method to remedy this?
I am using a Cloyes nine way adjustable crank gear. And currently have it installed straight up.
