Default Advice needed! Preparing for boost

So I have a d1sc procharger kit purchased. I have a stock bottums end ls1 In the car currently. I was thinking about removing the engine and installing a new oil pump & arp rods bolts. Also I have a set of 317 heads, arp head studs, and ls9 gaskets to go on. I am wondering if the oil pump and arp rods bolts are really worth taking the hole engine out for those 2 things? Or should I just pass on those and remove heads with the engine in the car. Any suggestions? I have a cam to instal also, probably tune for e85 and make 600-700rwhp

Not sure on the oil pump, I thought there was a bolt for the pickup tube that is impossible to remove without having the oil pan off?

LS2 timing chain is a good upgrade and you can use your stock gears. I would pass on the rod bolts unless you plan on pulling the rods out and having them resized. I would also throw in a new set of lifters and trays while the heads are off.

Is it possible to instal head studs with the engine in the car? Just wondering if you have to put heads on and then screw them in or if there is enough room to slide heads over studs. Also should I attempt to change oil pump or just leave it alone?

I have removed and reinstalled my heads in the car with studs. It's not too bad to squeeze them in there.

How many miles on the current oil pump ?
