Deleted last thread didn't get any info or help here's my current setup
My ls1
Stock bottom with arp head bolts
Patriot stage ll 5.3s 63cc
Tsp 228r cam 112lsa
Ls6 intake
42lbs injectors
Udp
Lts with full exhaust
3.73s fti4000 stall
Performabuilt lvl2 4l60
New setup will be either a lq9 or lq4 everything else same as above just upgrade the cam and rod bolts or would the 228r work just as good as on my ls1
Never dynoed but The car weighs 3300 with me in it best I ran was 1.6 60ft 7.1@95.7 na and 1.5 60ft 6.70@103.2 with 125 shot
was thinking of going with a bigger cam think the 228r is kinda small for a 6.0 but keeping the 5.3s or sell those too or if not just keep both
I was looking at the polluter cam and tsunami cam or something like that this time around i know bigger is not always better but I plan on hitting the car with 200 and it's not a daily anymore I know PTv clearance mite be an issue too so any advise as to what route to go will be helpful
Looking to go 9s 1/4 or 6.0-6.30s 1/8

61cc on the heads. Will be heading to the track next week actually. To give you an idea of how it performs it's almost a neck and neck race with my buddy's ported/pulled 03 Cobra which is around 500 rwhp. It's a strong setup for what it is

Just depends on who you have do it, but it's really not much more expensive. Usually $40.00 or so bucks. It's really the best way to go because it allows you to provide them with all the information regarding your car and mods., how you use the car (street only/track only/combo), they will want to know the flow numbers of the heads, etc. That way, the valve events can be tailored to how well the heads flow at different lift points.

Yes full weight plus an extra 100 lbs from the iron block. Since I'm running flat top diamond pistons and did have them notched to clear. Compression is 11:5.1 as well.
