Default Crankcase Preassure Recommendations with new 6.0

I'm a little new to the LS world and I need some advice with crankcase pressure on the new motor I bought. New motor is a 6.0 427 with LS3 topend.

I have attached a photo of the valley cover (my main interest area) that has no ventilation. I've seen tones of different variations on them so I am curious as to how I will be able to ventilate the crankcase good without it?

The plan is to use my old setup from my LT1, it had both valve covers ventilating to a catch with breather and a vacuum source pulling crankcase pressure through a catchcan, non vented.

#1 option is to vent the valve covers to the breather catchcan and tap the valley cover, run a line from the cover to catch can then to vacuum.

#2 option do option #1 with a different style valley cover, need to know what one to use though? I thing option #1 will work without a baffle sense I am using a catch can?

Thanks!

BTW I know the valve covers are the same on both sides lol. This is being fixed soon.

You can probably run a LS6 valley cover. Just depends on what year the 6.0L block is. AFM and all that.

Based on the fact your Knock sensors are in the valley you should be able to run the LS6 cover.

That's what I was thinking. my only concern is the LSXR intake I will be using? Anyone know if the protruding PCV humps will contact the intake or the vent contacting the intake?

The FAST intake clears the LS6 valley no problem so long as you are using button head screws and LS6 steam vents which it looks like you are.
