That is correct. Once a lobe is designed and saved it goes to the Computer on the CNC cam grinder. From there a program is written for the cam with the new lobe design. Why not get what you want. Master are for the manual machines. Each one took about 8 hours to make.

Is it an EPS cam thing to have the xxx/xxx/112 +2

What exactly is the +2?

So far no real negatives...except I can't decide what specs are best for me.

98 LS1 block
ported & milled 806 .050
LS6 oil pump
comp 918 springs
ported ls1 intake

I bought the car with these mods, looking to redo it my way.

+2 means that's the advance ground into the cam. Any cam manufacturer can do that. Mine from Flowtech Induction was a 112 +2 so I had an intake center line of 110 (someone feel free to explain better if needed)

OP, honestly, either call Kip (VERY cool to talk to / deal with) or call Geoff at Engine Power Systems (again, VERY easy to deal with)

Tick has proprietary lobes through Comp and Cam Motion.

I designed them myself.

I give Kip and Billy the numbers I want and they make it happen.

Out of all the people I called, Geoff (EPS) was the only guy that talked to me like a person other then a invoice number. Awesome guy and I will be a customer for life.

OP give Geoff a call and he will be more then happy to talk to you on meeting your goals. Im sure these other sponsors will treat you right also but can only speak from my experience.

So who all did you call? I doubt you talked to either Martin or Ed because neither guy would treat anyone like that.

You definitely didn't talk to Kip at Cam motion. He might be the nicest gentleman on earth.

Curious who all you did talk to then. We all know Martin, Ed, and Kip would never treat possible customers like that, and from others who have dealt with Allan Futral, he isn't like that either.

Everyone knows I lean toward Kip and cam motion but I have spoke to a few of the above names listed in the past and everyone of them was extremely helpful. Choose who you feel most comfortable with and enjoy your confidence in their expertise. I don't think any of these guys mentioned will steer you wrong. Did I mention cam motion? lol
