Default Car is soo slow with MS4 and ported 243 heads

Car is sooo slow with an MS4 and 243 ported heads. The car has MS4, 243 ported heads, Exhaust, 4200 stall, LS6 intake and it feels so dog slow. It doesn't have a tune yet but I'm hoping that will fix it. It does have a makeshift tune with 36-37 degrees of timing where it should be.

This is my Fiances car and we raced it against my 00 Camaro which has a 232/238 598/601 Lift cam, Stock Heads, Stock LS1 Intake, straight piped, slp lid and a P&P Throttle Body. I pulled on it pretty good from a 40 roll with my car.

There is one culprit I could suspect is that the nitrous lines run through the intake filter(There is no Filter) random aftermarket lid and is welded on to the maf sensor, so it is pointing behind the sensor that reads it.

So your out racing a UN-tuned car with all those new mods... Stop beating on it and go get it tuned.

^ What he said... Get that thing tuned, and 36 degrees sounds like a hell of a lot of timing at WOT. Also, if your driving on the street, put a fricking filter in that thing lol.

36 degrees of timing?

It's probably knocking it's hind end off and killing torque production.

I agree. Plus, the MS3 is not know for being a torque monster anyway. Beating on a car with those mods and no tune is just asking for trouble. There have been a lot of catastrophes beating on cars that are tuned, just not tuned well.
