Default I need more.. A change.. Something.. But what?

OK guys.. I need help..

The car has turned into a toy. It's not a daily driver, but it's not a strip car either. Zero interest in the strip.

What I do want is something quicker than what it is. I guess I've just grown used to what I'm driving. So.. I'm thinking about making some changes..

I've been eyeing FI for a little bit. Maybe a turbo, but I thought I'd see what I could maybe find in switching my current NA setup around a bit.

I don't care about dyno numbers. I care about the width of the smile it puts on my face when I stand on the go pedal.

I'm going to changing torque converters soon. I am about 99.986% sure I'm going with a PTC 4000 stall.. So, let's assume I've done that..

I'm not looking for "it'll get me a tenth there, or 1.273hp at 68,900rpm.. I'm looking for thrown back in the seat, wow that change was obvious.

What would you guys change?

Current setup:

Mods are:

Fast Toys Ram Air
LS1 Motorsports Lid
Ported TB
LS6 Intake
PowerBond UD Pulley
TR224 112LSA Cam
Texas Speed Stage 2.5 5.3L heads
XS Stainless Long Tubes..
Off Road Y
GMMG exhaust
Vigilante 2800 stall
Stock GM 3.42 rear end

Anyone?

Nitrous is cool if you don't use it often, if you plan on it FI becomes cheaper in the long run. I'd get a Huron or a custom turbo kit.

I was looking at the Huron or the CBR kit.

I don't really want to replace the K-member for the Huron kit though..

Straightline performance is coming out with a kit that uses stock k member and stock AC. I think they build them to each car though so I'm not sure if its a kit they can ship. They are a sponsor here out of Illinois. Otherwise a D1SC is what I would get.
