Valve shims and valve seats.

Hey guys quick question.

Im installing Brian Tooley's bronze guides shims on my trickflows heads and these shims do not fit on the valve seats, only under it. I always had the notion that the shims were used on top of the valve seat. Anyone can comfirm this? thanks

Those shims, as well as the Durabond shims, are designed to be used under the spring locators.
