Curious.
480 rwhp with no dyno tricks in an a4 (with big convertor) is tough.
I was just concerned whether or not it should get ported more before its assembled.
But it did do 480 RWHP through my A4 and with a cam that is supposedly tame 1 1/2 years ago, and thats without a full pull. It only went to 5,000 rpm on the dyno.
So should I just not worry about it?

I CANT verify any of the dyno info. I was not there when it was done. I belive that JD, JPR and Brian from PCM can not lie all at the same time. I have no reason to believe that BRIAN is lying, but JPR and JD, well thats another story.

But also remember, mine pulled 480 at 5,000 rpm, so really, I never had a full pull.
So maybe you got yourself a badass engine.

I lost 30 RWHP on my JPR S2 heads and cam package as soon as I drove it away from JD's dyno

Either that, or there is some funny business going on with the weather station. I know JPR pumped my tires way up (40-50 PSI), not sure how much effect that has, but I have heard of it as a dyno trick. We also dropped the y-pipe, removed the air filter...tried every trick in the book short of removing the belts.



. with that 436 i'd look at nothing less then some STG 3 heads.
