The cam is fine if you wish to stay on stock yellow springs or move to an entry level beehive spring. If the goal is to have an extremely long spring life and really easy on parts this cam can work. If you would like a balance between power and longevity there are better options out there.

That exactly what I'm looking for. I will adding ls6 intake
Can't read the specs, but you're going to need a pretty aggressive cam to get to 450 rwhp with a LS6 intake. Something in the mid to high 230's on intake and very high to low 240's exhaust.

The cam that you want would be 1 of two options 225 lsl lobe 232 XE lobe on a 111LSA installed at a 110 intake center line or for a longer spring life go with a 226 intake LXL lobe 232 exhaust XE lobe on a 111 LSA installed on a 109 intake center line.
Both of these cams will give you a great responsive motor for the street and get you to within reason of your 450 to the tire goal.

Higher compression and less weight. You'll never get close to their potential on an N/A motor so unless you're dying to lose a few grams off of your pistons/rods its not really worth it.
You can mill the heads or swap to 799/243 heads for more compression and better flow.

317 heads are not LS6 heads. LS6 heads are 243 heads, and eventually 799 heads when they outsourced a second supplier to cast them.
