New lsx midlift numbers are on par with ls6 ported so that means same tq right.

Assuming velocity is identical it'd be close......I've noticed the ported LSX raised peak torque/hp up a bit......not moving the entire powerband up a few hundred rpms, but extending it further.

The 78mm LSX is a waste of money IMO. The 90mm is badass though.

I agree. In retrospect I wish I'd gone that route, but at the time 90mm TB's weren't out yet. I still may swap mine for a 90mm soon.

I do like the LSX manifold for the easy of a direct port setup which is my next project, and the ability to have a blow off plug.
