I am rebuilding my 408 and was wanting to up the compression this time. I picked up a new set of diamond nitrous dome pistons part #11562 at a swap meet and was wanting to know if they will work with my 243 heads? Did some searches and couldn't find much. Thanks for any help

 

10cc is a lot. That's going to put your CR over 13.5:1

 

Yea should be right at 14:1

 

Could always get L92 heads or are you burning something besides 93 octane

 

Yea I will run race gas.. I can get 100 at the pump here where I live or 110 at the track... Keeping my 243 heads they are highly ported and flow extremely good

 

Don't want to change heads to lower the compression.. Already sits at 12.5:1 now with the flat tops that's in it.. Just picked these up cheap and want to raise the compression some.. Guess I will just have to put one on a rod and install it to check ptv clearance and make sure everything clears
