Default Please help with cam specs!!!

Ok, recently bought a 2002 sierra V-6 that was left half ways complete on the build. The intention was to do a V-8 swap. Its kinda like a puzzle because all the parts for the swap are inside the cab and on the bed. I figured while the engine is already out to start taking apart the 5.7 ls1 engine to install new cam bearings, rod bearings, piston rings gaskets etc. When I pulled out the cam this is what I found

CC
3715r/3718r
HR 113+4
59327-10

Any info would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

Looks like a 224/230 .563/.573 comp cam (or comp lobes)

should be a great cam if the lobes all look good, nice score

Good to know... the cam actually does look good. What about the lsa? Don't know much on how to figure out the specs. Sorry for my ignorance. I will be glad to receive any other info. Again thanks in advance.

If I had to guess, I'd go with 113+4.

it will be 113 LSA with 4* of advance ground in based on what you posted above, the HR means hydraulic roller and the lower numbers are the grind number, I googled the grind number and it didn't come back with anything in the top results so it's like a custom ordered cam if I had to guess

I googled the "comp cams 3715r" and "comp cams 3718r" to find the specs so they may or may not be correct, but I would say it's most likely the case.

Correct, 3715 is the is the Xtreme RPM (high lift) 224 lobe, and the 3718 is the 230 lobe in the same lobe family.
The IVC of that can is 41, and it had 1* of overlap.
BTW, you could easily run a set of PAC 1218 valve springs with that cam without a problem!
