Hi guys, i don't post much but i'm on here alot reading.
I dynoed my 99 Trans Am M6 last Friday night and i was wondering if i am about on target for a basically stock car..
Mods: LS1 Motorsports Direct Flo lid and K&N
SAE corrected 301.9 rwhp and 320.8 rwtq
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Yeap...you are right on target...with an aftermarket catback and some long tube headers you will be pushing 33X's rwhp...since your car is a '99 you might also look into getting an ls6 intake...congrats on the numbers...

Anything over 300RWHP for a stock M6 98-00 F-body LS1 is very good. C5s and A4s will be a little less due to less efficient drivetrains

Thanks guys..
question:
how much of a real gain would i see from an LS6 intake? And, would it be noticable as far as ET/MPH?
i plan to do an exhaust, but nothing really fantsy
Hooker longtubes
Offroad pipe
single bullet muffler (like the dynomouth) and tailpipes out the back..
another question: Would the Hooker Y-pipe be alright or should i go with something else?
My Trans Am is my daily driver so i'm not going to do much to it right now, i just want to do some of the basics as cheap as possible.
One last question: Who has a good flowing ported stock throttle body? I know there is alot of different ones floating around, and would i get noticable gains for my money?

The Hooker Y is fine. I have it and have no complaints. You may want to port your MAF ends or get aftermarket ones. My '99 A4, with only a lid, K&N filter (which gives nothing), and a ported MAF gave me 310/318 corrected. With a 5% gain in an M6, that would equate to 325 I think. '99's seem to like them. I felt a nice power gain.
