For 200 bucks more you can have Yella Terra Platinums that will take a grand of spring pressure all day long. No thanks.

Don't forget that you'll probably also need to more rocker arm clearance than the stock valve covers offer(even with the oil baffles removed with adj. rr ). So then you're look at least another $250 for new taller VCs .

Comp offered me "special pricing" on another trunion upgrade... I asked how much, and he never responded (this was 10 days ago).

I'm still trying to do enough research to get the rockers adjusted correctly. I have the UMI spacers (and boy are they nice), and I'm putting a ls2 valve covers in to use that PCV system. Probably going to be buying a second catch can to go along with that.

I had a bad experience with comp long long time ago, I stay far away from their poor attitude and poor workmanship.

So the root cause has not been established yet correct? You havent carefully cut a bearing apart to look?
