pushrod length?
Ok I think I understand the process for checking pushrod length. I used the EO/IC method with a jegs pushrod checker. I checked 2 exhaust and 2 intake just to be sure my measurements were the same. When I checked the length I got 7.430. Then I added .062 preload which gave me 7.492 so I assume that a 7.5 pushrod would be acceptable. Is this a normal length? It seems long to me. Its a lq4 with unknown mileage (looks like its never been apart), upgraded trunion rockers, and a tick SNS torqueMAX Stage 2 227/235 .61x"/.62x" LSA110+3

You've got to go with what the motor calls for. When I measured mine, they were extremely short I thought, even called texas speed and they told me that they were short. After walking through the process with me, they said it sounded off but was obviously what was needed.
