Default Oil pan question

I bought a oil pan, sight unseen, took a chance, anyway turns out it won't work in my foxbody, 6.0 I'm doing. This pan came off a new hotrod type LS eng, his description, he was putting in a 57 chevy. It's a brand new pan, with windage tray, pick up, and dip stick and tube. The sump is around 6 in deep in the center, and steps up to around 5 in the rear. Center part is deeper in other words. The sump, measuring from the rear to the front is 15 in. Does anyone know what type of car this is off of? I've found various pans on the net with measurements and nothing has a sump that long.

There's a sticky on pans in the conversions section...
