Default Are '98 injectors in a 2000 with an LS6 intake a good fit?

I was thinking about getting new injectors someday when I get everything into my car that I have, including a LS6 intake manifold, on my 2000 Camaro SS. I lucked into a set of practically new 28# injectors from a '98 "Vette. Will those be ok? I am under the impression that there isn't any difference between the ones from the LS1 '98 and the LS1 '01~'02 years. Is this right? I know that once I do all this a tune is mandatory. Thanks for any input.

IMO putting the 28# would be a waste when you factor in you need a tune for them and there's no real benefit. I'd just keep the 26# ones you have now and swap to a bigger injector if you need it in the future.
