Default Heads and cam build help!

I'm in the process of doing a heads and cam swap on my 99z28. Stock bottom end ls1. I just bought some prc stg2.5 5.3l heads. They have 59cc chambers. I want to run the vrx5 camshaft. 236/238 .601 .605 113+2lsa. I'm not wanting to fly cut. I'm curious as to how close it will be with the small chambers. I don't not wanna flycut and will go with another cam if need be. Has anyone else ran a similar setup with out Ptv clearance issues? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

IMO, I'd plan on having the pistons fly cut with that cam, without fly cutting the pistons I'd take the intake lobe duration under 230..

I have a buddy with same heads and he's running the futral f14. 232 234 .598 .598 112 and he didn't have to fly cut. I have little to no knowledge on what portion of the cam specs goes along with Ptv clearance. I thought it was the lift that came into play and .601 .605 didn't seem to much larger. Any way I could use thicker gaskets by chance?

im hopeing so. im trying to do some more research. ive changed my mind so many times. i really like this cam but didnt wanna waste the money if it wont work with the heads

It should be fine, but call one of the big vendors in here just to be 100% sure

Thanks again. I'm gonna give vengence racing a call. I've also been looking at the sns stg 2 from tick. But not sure if it's large enough for my goals. I want to be in the low 11s in motor and 10s on 100 shot. It's an a4 car with full suspension. 3:42s, locker and 3600 stall

The car already runs 12.6s 12.7s with just long tubes and lid.
