Hey guys well I just picked up a complete 06 6.0lq4 for 350.00 from a buddy. The motor is in great shape, but one cylinder had water (rusted bad), now I'm pretty sure it needs bored. I plan on keeping the stock rods and crank, going to use arp rod bolts though. Does anyone have any good info on somewhat cheap forged pistons?? Not looking to spend 800.00 preferably 500.00 or less if I can. Defiantly want a 2618 forging bc I will be spraying the car... A flat top would be great bc I plan on using the 317 heads that came on it. Any info or options you guys could help me out with would be great! Thanks!!
