Default Does this look infected ?

So my LS1 oil pan has an interesting looking "break" within one of the two holes that allows the oil to pass from the block to the filter. This does not appear to be a precise break/cut. Is this correct? Obviously this shouldn't be blocked because oil need to pass through. Is there supposed to be a baffle in this hole ?

That's pretty much what they all look like. Not ideal, but not a big deal either.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was honestly expecting to hear that somehow this had broken under normal operation. Looks pretty unconventional. Guess i will re-use this oil pan after all in my build
