Default ls1 thoughts on parts

So i have a 00 camaro ss and I have been looking for an intake either a ls6 intake or a fast intake. I found a used FAST intake for 500$ than the guy turns around to me and says he has the fast intake heads cam and like i whole kit. I wanted to know if these things will be good for my street car. the intake is ''intake fast 102 mm lsxr for motor LS1 LS2 LS6 catedral ports'' the heads he said are cylinder heads "ls1 ls2 ls6 for sale cnc porting , 310 cfm flow ,
valves stainless steel , springs .650 , 61cc combustion chambers" he hasnt told me much about the cam yet. I was thinking of doing heads cam intake and headers and thats it for a street/strip car. What are your opinions on these heads intake and all that. Thank you in advance.

Yeah that description is crap. You need to get more information from the seller. Buyer beware on something like that.

I think that you would be better off going another route if your main goal is streetability. Used parts can be good deals, but if you don't know what you are looking at, then your "good" deal can turn sour rather quickly.

It seems that this may be one of those deals if the description is that crappy to begin with.

Personally, I wouldn't even bother with the Fast. I would use that $500 for either picking up some 243/799 heads or for sending my heads off to get ported somewhere.

So your trying to buy just the intake? Are you buying heads and a cam with the intake? I'm confused.
