Default Thinking about camming the V... need advice

I've been throwing around the idea of camming my 04' CTS-v and I was curious as to what kind of cam I should look for. being a 4000 lb pig with 4.10's I'm not sure...Here are the mods that I currently have:

Stock LS6 Long block
K&N CAI
Kooks 1 7/8 headers w/high flow cats
2.5" stock exhaust with x-pipe and no mufflers
Just picked up but not installed - Fast 102 LSXR, fuel rail, Ported LS2 TB, and VMAX 102 to 90mm TB "ring" insert
Stock Injectors and pump
Ford 8.8 swap with 4.10 gears
1 piece Carbon Fiber Driveshaft
11 lb flywheel (don't know what clutch)

I want a cam that makes as much power from 2000-6000 as possible but I would rather not go over .600" lift. I will also have the redline set around 6850 (incase I need a few extra to prevent a 3-4 shift on course). A nice lope at idle would be nice but nothing to crazy as I have poly mounts everywhere and don't want my teeth to rattle out sitting in traffic lol. The car is 95% street (and my DD) with the occasional auto-x, 1/4 & 1/8th mile, road, airfield drag...

The car with a tune made 384rwhp 375rwtq before the headers. Initially I was going to strictly do "bolt on's" and see where that got me but the only ones really left are higher ratio rockers, electric water pump, and UD pulley... The $ required for those is = to a set of heads lol... not to mention with 145k miles on the clock I'm thinking I'm going to put a new ls2 or C5R timing chain in, oil pump, valve springs, LS2 lifter trays, etc. anyway. With the 102 and 90 TB and 4.10 gears I will need a dyno tune at a minimum as well.

I have the Futral F11 in my LS1 powered C4 vette and it makes power everywhere but it only weighs 3000 lbs with me in it lol... and it has 3.42 gears. I love how it feels.

Need some advice from some folks that have dealt with heavier and geared cars. Thanks in advance

Kp

If you were happy with the Futral F11 in you vette, consider the F4-112(226/226 112lsa) or F5-112 (224/228 112lsa) or F6-112(226/230 112lsa)
There's also the Cam Motion Titan III (224/228 113lsa)
Either company can also easily grind you a custom cam, which might be better suited to you exact needs/wants.
I'd also stick with the stock 1.7 rockers and just do a trunion upgrade to them.

BTW, what's the lsa on the F11 in the vette...?

Those cams look like some options. I appreciate the input. I will be doing the trunion update. The F11 I have in the vette is actually on a 114 LSA.

The F4 and F5 with the 112lsa will have slightly more overlap than the F11 (228/230 114lsa), 2* vs 1* overlap so they'll some almost the same a far as cam lope. The F6 with the 112lsa will have 4* overlap so it'll probably sound like it has slightly more lope, but it'll still be very streetable. Furthermore, with you having 4.11 rear gears that will help a lot getting you heavier CTS-V moving.
