Rocker Arm / Valve-question

Hello!!
Im doing some mods on my stock c5z:
-215 PRC heads
-Ms3 cam with hardened pushrods (7.4)
-and bolt on

My mechanic had this problem today...1.4mm or 0.0551in of lash..
I need help on this please! What could be the problem?

Did you use a pushrod length checker? The only thing I can see it being is the pushrods are to short.

No i dont...but i didnt change the ratio of the rockers, the lifters are for ls7 but should be the same as the stock ones, shouldnt the pushrod length be stock 7.4? By the way this lenght was recomended by TSP when i ordered the parts.

He didn't verify the wipe and he didn't measure for the correct pushrod.

Nop. The same thick as stock.
