Hello all, I will start off by saying I have a motor set out of a 04 GTO with a complete harness, ecu, and t56 trans. What I'm trying to do is convert the harness to a 4 wire setup. I'm putting the engine in my S13. I know they make harnesses that will work but I eliminated the chassis harness and want to run everything off a switch panel for simplicity. I have researched and haven't found too much on how to convert the harness. I have found info on the lt1 swap site for my specific harness but not too sure on how to exactly make it 4 wires and where to put fuse blocks etc. I haven't been able to find a specific write up step by step on how to do this. Does anyone have insight on how to convert my harness. I'm looking for a guide that can walk me through the process. I have the factory pcm and plan on using it, not buying the f body ls1 pcm. I'm located in so Cal if that helps anyone. I've found companies such as speartech that makes harnesses. Obviously I would prefer to do it on my own. Any thoughts would help and be appreciated.
