Opinion on Cam I am looking for an opinion on a cam I have in my car. This is what it says on the box. Dur@050

Not gonna lie dont know much about cams.
I have a set of stage 2 862 Heads. 390 gear. Full exhaust and a few other bolts ons.
My goal is to put a Procharger on over the winter and be around 600-650hp. I am looking for any thoughts and opinions on if the cam should be changed. Also, clutch, 12-bolt in the near future. Along with a new bottom end when it breaks. I want to keep it street friendly. As of now I dynoed 425 hp at the wheels. Is this decent with my current setup?

What's the LSA on the cam, how do you like it, is it street friendly enough for you..?

Another plus is that the cam lobes are fairly mild which is a good thing with F.I.. The intake lobes having a 54* ramp rates, and the exhaust lobes having a 55* ramp rate. it also has a decent I/E duration split The only down side I see is it having 9.5* overlap, which is a lot more than I would want in a blower cam, especially in a LS1 engine. Ideally I'd run a least a 14* I/E split, and no more than about 4* overlap preferably less. I'd say run the cam and unless you find that it's bleeding off boost stick with it.

I agree with 99Bluz28. Are there better cams, sure. I think you'll be impressed with how it runs though. In the past, I built many ProCharged cars, and ran all kinds of "incorrect" cams, only to smoke the guys saying "that won't work".
