Default Could you sleep at night with this pan alignment?

I just finished my F-body pan swap onto my GTO! I've been researching the swap and been concerned with the bell housing alignment, so I cleaned everything overkill and applied super black RTV to the 4 cover to block joints and it went right on, if I use the edge of a razor blade I can see a baby hair of light through the gap with an LED behind it, but it seems excellent to me! Any opinions?

I agree. I think you're probably fine.

If the pan stuck out past the block, I'd be worried, but you have like a .020 safety margin the other way.

sure thing, unfortunately this is the only full pic I have it went straight from the trailer to the garage for the swap, I'm going to get everything running and lined out and then set it up with paint, suspension, wheels tires ECt....

Ahh, Silverstone R1 ! I guess you have the black interior with the suede look seats. Are you going to use the Samberg mounting kit ? What fuel pump ? Are you going to spring mod the GTO PS pump, use Turn One or go manual rack ? Doing your own harness ? Are you going to put a remote bleeder on your clutch slave ? Need any parts ?
Can you guess why I'm interested ?

Yes the black interior! I'm gonna go with a turn one pump fitting if it's available for the GTO pump yet, 85 Land cruiser clutch MC, some form of external fuel pump / regulator. I have the full samberg kit, samberg radiator. I'm gonna run an ABS delete *which I need still. I'm to the point now where I need all the fuel system, clutch line, PS pump and lines, Abs delete, ect.... the little stuff. I'm debating about the engine harness, the favorite right now for me is sending it to Ronin speedworks, then have a local shop in Houston slim out my chassis harness, plug it all back in and tune it.

You mean remove the relay box on the radiator core support so it's not in the way of the Samberg radiator housing ?

I have 20k on my swap. I'm here learning about heads and valve train.

That and removing the other two boxes out also, I want the bay as neat and tucked as I can get it.
