If 2500 stall is your limit forget engine mods.
If you want more low end I would sooner do a junkyard 6.0l for less money than the stroker rotating assembly, and the larger bore helps the heads breath.

Most of us start out with really poor plans like your's before we gain actual understanding. I made plans like this, made plenty of mistakes, and hopefully can help the newbs avoid repeating mistakes many of the rest of us already made.

A stock engine benefits from higher stall, and modern units drive well, the 2500stall idea folks get stuck in their heads is often based on assumptions based on crappy converters or decades outdated ideas about how a higher stall drives.

I already got nice motor in car now 600 hp and runs 6.50 in 1/8 mile I'm looking to make it calmer if that helps and for Trans I can keep the 4000 stall I got in my rpm built 4l60e that's in there now but just looking for opinions on 5.3 stroker to make it calmer and quietly for more cruiser and nice radio but don't want no turd either it still needs to run good

just put a smaller cam in the motor you have and drop the converter down to a 32-3600.

ok back to the real question cam,im thinking like 224 or 230 something like that, might not even make stroker out of it just bore it out 30 or 40.
