Default PTV clearance?

I picked up a set of heads milled .036 and think I'm going to have an issue with my ptv clearance. Am I able to run a thicker gasket in order to stop that problem? I won't mind if my compression remains stock. Just trying to save my engine before I go ahead and continue this build.

What's your PTV with a stock gasket? Yes there are thicker gaskets. They are pricey though.

You can disassemble a hydaraulic lifter and use spacers in place of the spring and make it solid. That's what I did.

Use a comp checker spring. It will hold the valve up without collapsing the lifter plunger.

I was contemplating to do that but I don't have any spare lifters and I'm not trying my bt lifters apart
