tea 243 vs tfs 235 I need some one with real world answers who have switched with track results.in reality the tfs should make more power but lately I've seen advanced induction, tea, livernois and local ported 243 heads making 550 rwhp on stroker motors that's about all I see from tfs heads.same thing on engine dyno numbers are very close.I have the tea 243 heads now just want to see if it would be worth changing heads
Even when folks post results there are going to be folks who don't like and therefore deny them. Few folks make the switch from one large head to another and few of those have clear results they will post.

the differences are small on most properly ported heads. with the aftermarket castings the main advantage would be deck thickness. my ported 243's from katech on my 408 have made 538 rw with a 90/90 intake and 1 3/4 headers.
^^^ I agree with this guy. For the price difference, I'd go with the TEA 243's. You can optimize the setup around those heads by making sure you maximize your compression, run the appropriate cam for those heads and what you intended to do with the car, make sure the headers and exhaust are the least restrictive you can have, make sure the valvetrain is setup properly, etc.
