I bought a Felpro gasket kit for my Lq4 built, and I'm confused as to where these gaskets go. This built is for a 2002 z28 with ls1 crank, heads, intake...etc. 2, 3, and 4 I'm pretty sure those are different size rings for the oil pickup tube. Help would be much appreciated. During my tear down I do not remember any of these gaskets.

 

What a puzzle, (2,3,4) oil pump o rings

(5,11,12,13,14) all look like the oil cooler plate gasket that goes above the oil filter..

(7,9) looks like the top and bottom injector o-rings

(1) I have never seen that

 

That kit looks wrong.

 

I'm guessing these are the left over seals from your kit? You have already used the remaining seals in the correct places?

2,3,4 - oil pump pickup tube.
6 - oil level sensor.
11,12 - oil cooler lines at oil pan.
5 - oil cooler lines block-off at oil pan.
9 - dipstick tube?

I don't know about the rest.

 

1 is the water pump rear cover gasket. You can trash it.

 

#1 is not an LSx water pump rear gasket (it might be a 2.8/3.1/3.4 WP gasket).

#10 might be an LSx WP rear gasket.

The long shaped ones are not correct for LSx oil cooler plate.

#9 might be fuel line o-ring.


The kit looks totally wrong for LSx.
