Default lifter tick after cam install

just installed a texas speed magic stick 4 in my o2 z28, used prc springs comp pushrods 7.450 ls7 timing chain and a timing chain dampner and a hubbard racing ported ls6 oil pump. I have a lifter tick , it sounds like just one and does not do it cold or when idling, it does it when at steady part throttle around 2000 rpms will continue to tick till you bring the engine back to idle and it disappears in about a minute. I carefully measured pushrod length and preload is about .050 , alot of my friends think it is unusual to have to use long pushrod. Internally the engine is stock with about 80k miles and had no noise before the cam swap, HELP !

Default Tick

Also when the rockers are at zero lash, I get about 3/4 to one turn till the bolt is tight (22 ft Lbs ) also when the ticking starts the engine doesnt idle as well, but think that is due to the knock sensor detecting the lifter tick... am I right?
