Default Which intake for Turbo build?

I want either the edlebrock high rise efi intake or the Holley high rise intake. The motor (5.3)is gonna be fairly stock besides a bigger cam and will be NA at first just to get it running and then I'm gonna fab either twins or a single turbo set up

Has anyone used either one of these? Which one offers better flow NA and boosted? And how much better?

I thought someone just went 5.44 @ 129 in the 1/8 mile with a single billet 80 on a cammed 5.3 using the truck intake. With that being said, it would seem to me that up to about a 1000-1100 horse range you need only the intake that connects the throttle body to the intake ports...nothing fancy

It's going in a 66 c10. I could go with and intake and make the hp I want. But I like the look of both intakes ....but I want the one that performed better

I'm only looking to make 600hp. But when I pop the hood I want it to look as good as it runs

Edelbrock super victor with a 4150 tb!!! Had mine for a few months now and love it. Running N/A but I'm on the list for a Huron speed turbo kit. Love the old school looks and the throttle response is quick. No regrets here.

I'm planning on doing a ~1000hp twin turbo. I wound up going with the Holley mid-rise intake -- it looked better to me than the high rise, and I wasn't positive the high rise would fit under my Chevelle's hood. The build quality is excellent. My second choice was the victor intake, but heard it was best at high rpm, and I wasn't planning on shifting at 7000-7500rpm, nor wanting boost to only kick in above 3-4k rpm.

I think, in the end, it won't matter what intake you use. It seems like the LS6, holley mid/high rise, edelbrock super vic, and any other higher-flowing one is just fine. The only one I was worried about is the LS1 or FAST intake, as I heard the LS1 doesn't flow very well and the FAST one has problems with the intake runners at higher boost.

The cheapest option is to just use the stock truck intake, as it flows a ton. It's just fugly.
