Default cam question....need help!!!

I bought a motor off a guy and decided to tear it down because he didn't know much about it....he said it had a comp cam and comp dual valve springs....i pulled the cam out and it says. Flow tech on the top and the grind number is M5780-08....I tried to contact flow tech induction but I can't get anybody to get back with me....all I want to know is what the cam specs are and what springs are recommended for that cam...If anyone can help I would appreciate it...

If you call Flow Tech, they would be able to help you out.

A couple things you can try.
-Contact Com Cams and see if they can identify the grind.
-Contact New Era Perfornamce. For some reason I am thinking they have a relationship with FlowTech and sell their cams. Maybe they can help you out.
-Email Flowtech. I think Ed Curtis may do better with emails.
-Find someone to measure the cam you have.
-Worse case, buy an new cam kit.

Send it to us. Will run Cam Doctor report polish it and return it to you. That way you will know what you have.

Ed doesn't have a published number. Email him. He might be a day, but he WILL get back with you.

Or, call Comp, as they probably did that cam. I doubt it was Lunati... They'd be able to tell you though.
