cam question....need help!!!
cam question....need help!!! I bought a motor off a guy and decided to tear it down because he didn't know much about it....he said it had a comp cam and comp dual valve springs....i pulled the cam out and it says. Flow tech on the top and the grind number is M5780-08....I tried to contact flow tech induction but I can't get anybody to get back with me....all I want to know is what the cam specs are and what springs are recommended for that cam...If anyone can help I would appreciate it...
A couple things you can try.
-Contact Com Cams and see if they can identify the grind.
-Contact New Era Perfornamce. For some reason I am thinking they have a relationship with FlowTech and sell their cams. Maybe they can help you out.
-Email Flowtech. I think Ed Curtis may do better with emails.
-Find someone to measure the cam you have.
-Worse case, buy an new cam kit.
