I am looking at a cam for my LQ9. It is a Lunati 212/218 113/109 .531/.531
So the question is: Can I get away with the stock springs that have 97K on them?
Thanks!

I would do the LS3 springs. They only 60 bucks new and can take 560 lift new.

NO, if it's the VooDoo series ! Since those lobes have a aggressive lobes (ramp rate's 50) which need noticeably more spring rate to control. I also wouldn't use the LS3 springs. I'd get a set of PAC-1218 and shim them to within about .05" of coil bind for long life and good control of that VooDoo cam.

You'll likely be fine without shimming them to within .05" of coil bind, but shimming will still be better.
