Either one should be fine, but the 10295 (high pressure) would probably be better for a stock bottom end.

No problem.

FYI, I have the 10296 (high volume) and haven't had any issues with oil pressure or starving the pump. I know of several other engines that run the 10296 and are problem-free even in Texas Mile events.

I'd use high volume. To me the high pressure pumps get the pressure from a spring (which may or may not fail). I have had good oil pressure with Melling high volume pumps on all my cars and no lifter knock on cold starts. I've had zero issues with oil pan getting sucked dry using the stock oil pan with a high volume pump.

Later,
Daniel

I just recently finished up my cam install and I used the 295 pump. My oil pressure is 80psi on cold start and holds around 50-60 psi when warm. My motor has 139K on the clock.

I put a stock LS6 pump when I did my cam change and am very happy with it. It was a 50k mile motor in great shape with good oil pressure and it went up about 5psi with the LS6 pump across the board

M295, 10295, and 10296 are all different models. I'm currently running the 10295 with no issues.
