They sure are lol.. I just got engine built and also know the tick.. idk if it'll work for you but once I put 93 octane and 104 octane booster and my ticking is gone

I ment "tick performance " lol, do you run stock rocker arms? I kinda feel sorry for the little guys and their new job

Got the new polluter cam with those springs in my z06. Car is insane at high rpm and doesn't skip a beat. These springs are fantastic. Shifting 7 - 7200 rpm no issues.

I wouldn't expect them to look or act like stock springs when you're talking about putting in an aftermarket camshaft with more lift and duration than stock and on more aggressive cam lobe profiles. BTR spring kits are great and seem to be the go to springs for the LSx aftermarket.

I agree, the BTR springs are top notch. I have the BTR .650" springs and 7.425" push rods and can say from first hand experience they do perform well. Shift at 6800 rpm's.
Just like to say too that i was able to meet Brian Last year at the 2014 shootout in Indy.He's a great guy and very knowledgeable. You want go wrong with them.
