LQ4 408ci Twin 72mm Turbo in Progress
Well, I have been a member less than a year, been reading quite a few threads and finally decided to post this thread.
I have owned this 1985 Trans Am since it was new, it has gone through few changes from Gen1 305ci to 355ci and then I stroked it out to 383ci about 5 or 6 years ago when I committed myself to more drag racing. Last year I decided that I had enough, wanted to put it back on the street, sold all my 383 forged roller motor and started collecting the LS parts. Well, here are some pictures of my project. The motor and tranny, 4L80E, is ready to go in for turbo exhaust and intake fabrication. I hope to get my car back into my garage soon, if I can get my trailer out of the snow buried behind friend's place, finish up few more body work, paint the engine compartment, underneath and inside and hope to have my motor and tranny in before the end of this month. If everything goes as plan, I will have it on the road before the end of this summer. I will keep you guy posted. Wish me luck.
