you could always call them and ask but the parts they use are oem or even slightly better and no oem motor is going out at 450 lol. the ls3 is rated at 430 stock. i agree that there is no reason for forged internals.

will you feel the extra weight? ya a little but that weight is just something that doesnt need to be there and wont help any aspect of driving.

Well, I've nearly wrapped up the whole motor build with one phone call lol. I sent Tony Mamo a pm yesterday evening and he immediately asked for my phone number. Then took the time on a Sunday afternoon to call me and spend 45 minutes on the phone going over all my options and his suggestions. That kind of customer service goes a long way with me, especially since I haven't even sent him a dime.....yet I know I'm not saying anything you guys don't already know, but I want to give credit where it's due. Made a great impression on me. Needless to say, my heads, cam, and intake needs are taken care of. Just gotta pick out my short block and give him the green light!

Those are the ones he and I discussed. Now it's just a matter of having a 383 put together for them to sit on top of

I'd still consider a LS2 short block. But either way you're likely going to have 475-500hp, if you car was a m6 you'd likely break 500hp.

He and I are going to start discussing the short block options here soon and figure out the best combo to work with what I'm buying from him. I'm still open to options.

I like the idea of using the LS2 Block/Bore also, whichever stroke
You use. Best bore for MMS220 in my opinion.

Spoke to him again earlier this evening and we discussed a better option. 416 LS3 with his MMS 235s. Waiting to hear back on some more details tomorrow night and then Im going to start funneling the money his way.
