Chris one would THINK so, but hey JPR did the work so who knows.
JS as far as money goes, fugettaboutdit. I could've had a nice down payment on a house or half a ZO6. I am not using this as a street car anymore. I bought myself a Turbo Jetta, and the wife sold the SS and I got a truck and a trailer. I also bought a motorcycle last month to keep me busy. I will now have a trailer queen. Weight reduction in now in the works. I already AC!, seats are soon to follow. I added Bogart Welded RTs in the back also. We will see where it tips the scales. I dont want to open a perfectly good tranny to install the speed sensor. If there is an external way to do it then I am all ears.

Chris - it would be really close, so it might turn over by hand during assembly. This is something that needs to be checked during mock up of your engine. Just because it turns over by hand does not mean that it's ok. You need at least .060" between the piston and the reluctor ring.

Bear - Glad to see your getting her back together correctly this time! Ken will get you straightened out.

I'd just like to add, JPR is a moron. Still owes me money also, I've pretty much written off ever hearing from him again.

Did JPR declare bankruptcy? Anybody know for sure? He still owes me money, too.

If he did in fact move, does anyone have a forwarding address for him?

Hope your luck improves, Bear...it's amazing how much better mine has gotten since I severed all ties with JPR !!

He only paid me back part of the deposit that I put down on some heads.

Compared to a f**ked-up motor, it is chump change but no pride, no honor.

Good luck bear.

He promised me alot too in consolidation for f*cking me but I have heard nothing and do not expect to.

We just all need to be careful and make sure he does not try to come back with a different name,

wasn't he off Marne Hwy or something? we can watch for that and anything with this street name in New Jersey.

I got back part of the deposit I put down on a 382 all-bore engine and JPR EWP he never delivered on. He still owes me $1500, though.

I wonder if all of us who have been screwed by JPR could get together and do a class-action lawsuit against him?

I finally got tired of JPR's BS excuses and ordered an ARE 346 shortblock which has been bulletproof, BTW. Best decision I made.
