are all the retainers the same size for various springs, meaning could i take my PRC retainers and put them on comps, or BTRs, ect? i have titanium ones on PRC dual springs now but the springs have around 70k on them with a Torquer V.2 cam and im planning on getting new springs when i get my heads done so im trying to save a little money by buying springs with steel retainers or just the springs by themselves with no retainers and swapping mine on to those. anyone done this or know if they interchange. thanks.

 

No, there are different sizes. You'll have to measure and see if they'll work. They may, and they may not.

 

The I.D. of the springs has to match the tiering of the retainer.

 

PRC and BTR are the same sizes. Comps are different.

 

awesome. thanks. do you know that from experience or did Mr. Tooley tell you himself? i tried to look the sizes up myself but didnt have much luck. hence why I'm asking in the first place.
