Default Cam Questions

Hey guys Im wanting a cam really soon but I have a questions

I have a 2002 Z28 Camaro A4

What are some good cams that are still streetable?

Is the MS3 streetable ?

If I was to go LS1 Hot Cam would I need a Stall since it's a small Cam ?

Is there a Good cam that's Between the hot cam and MS3 ?

There is dozens of choices between those two cams. What are the rest of your mods and future plans?

That doesn't say much. We'd need all of the details for the rest of the mods to even begin to suggest a cam. Saying an engine has heads and an intake does not mean much, all engines must have heads and an intake to run.

Is it a A4 ?
The converter suggests that yes it is indeed an automatic 4 speed.

Although I wouldn't consider an MS3 with a 3800 stall "streetable". Can it be driven on the street with relative effort? Sure. Would it be fun to drive more than just when racing on the streets (eg. driving to work or to the store)? Not really.

If you are going to daily drive your car,

Look at the 228/228 or Torquer 2 232/234 from TSP.

You are going to need a stall as well. I would suggest a 3600 stall.

I have a 4000 stall in mines, and run a 233/239 cam.

Keep duration in the 22Xs to low 23Xs. It's easiest to find a sponsor you like and call them for some advice. I've used both EPS and Cam Motion with great results. Martin from Tick is also very helpful here.

MS3 shouldn't even be on your mind. It's more towards the max effort side of things and would need a 4000 stall, short gears, and a perfect tune to work well. If you like Texas Speed they have dozens of other cams more suitable for your combo and goals.

I beg to differ. Stalled/cammed cars are great fun at all times. All opinions are valid though.
