Lunati 395 Stroker
I am going to be getting this kit with some LS6 heads...Lunati makes a kit for the LS1 and LS6...The only difference is in the piston (Eff. Dome
Vol. (cc))...The LS1 comes with -11 while the LS6 comes with -14...Which kit do I have to get for having the LS6 heads?..Can I get the LS1 kit then mess around with the chamber size on the heads?..I've been goin over this crap for the past couple of hours and its drivin me crazy
...
It's 10.6 to 1 compression

I'm not sure but I think that your CR will be higher if you go with the LS1 kit and LS6 heads. The way I understand it, the -14 dome is designed to achieve the same 10.6 CR in an LS6 (with smaller combustion chambers).
Beside that, I don't see any problem doing it. If you're concerned with P/V clearance, this issue is more related to big duration/lift cams.

CR is10.82 with 11 cc pistons and 10.48 with 14 cc pistons this is with a 10 cc gasket and 64 cc head with 0 deck ht.Not much difference,I"d go with the 11 cc if you can get 93 gas!
P.S. if the piston is dished there is no dome, just a cut out to lower CR 11 OR 15 CC.

I would not see a problem with the P-V, but as always check it out. We had plenty of clearance on this block with the -11cc dome pistons and non-milled LS6 ported heads. Motor is waiting to be put in the car now so we'll let you know how it turns out. The 395's are torque monsters.
