Default HELP.!!! LS4. 243' on an Lq9???

I can't seem to find any solid info on using front wheel drive 243' on my setup, I can buy a set reasonable, but need to pull the trigger soon. Are they identical in chamber size, valves etc? Can I use them in a rear wheel drive application ?

I am 99% sure there are no differences in any of the castings themselves, only that the ls6 243s have sodium filled lightweight valves.

Regular 243s are worth about $400 in perfect shape with valves.

Afaik the only difference in between the front drive LS4 and rear drive LSx engines is the crank and the snout to fit a FWD trans. The rest of the engine is the same so there should be no difference in what drive you have especially the heads which have nothing to do with FWD or RWD.
