Default Need valve suggestion

Hi everyone, noob here with a noobish question. I just bought a new cam with the specs 230/234 .600/.602 111 LSA. I am looking for some valve spring kits for the cam and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for my cam specs. I was looking at this lunati one in particular: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lunati-LS1-LS2-LS3-LS6-LS7-GM-Gold-Dual-Valve-Spring-Kit-660-Max-Lift-73925K1-/271820107726?hash=item3f49bdafce&vxp=mtr
Thanks

Many have had good luck with the BTR (Brian Tooley Racing) spring kit. Have you looked at their kits? Also, if you want to stay with the beehive springs, check out PAC springs.

There are a LOT of brands of valvesprings, maybe like 3 primary manufacturers, and one primary steel wire supplier.

Don't get hung up on brand, pick a vendor you trust, give them the pertinent information and trust their suggestion.

The BTR kit is cheaper @ 229.00 and you would be supporting a site sponsor.

There has been a thread of a member keeping up with the spring pressure on his BTR duals. He was still good to go at 40k miles if I'm not mistaken. Just needed to shim them up and throw them back in. Very quality spring, and their tool steel retainer is almost as light as most peoples titanium.

Rexv8, you would probably be better off with vettenuts recommendation instead of the Lunati's. In that add you posted is a spec called Open Load = 400@1.150 ; it works better with high lift or faster lobe ramps like the ones Comp Cams sells. Your cam reminds me of the one Trick Flow sold. It has softer lobes and less lift. I think it used Crane lobes.
The Brian Tooley springs are less 380. This means they can be easier on your lifters. Less pushrod flex. Longer spring life. Why put stress on components if you don't have to. If your cam has the lobes I think it does, you could even use Pac 1218.

Also, I wanted to ask. With a name like Rexv8, do you have a LSx RX7 ? Or is your name Rex ?

My cam is actually a comp cam, got it from one of the forums. I was searching for some more spring kit after I posted this thread and found out the briantooley kit for 230$ which is awesome. Can I still use the briantooley one or do I now have to end up with the lunati one since mines comp cam? Your guess was right I do have a Rx7 which is getting a lsx swap. Since the engine is out right now I am trying to get the cam swap done before it goes in. Also its the t56 is being rebuilt too.
