Considering that the majority of Heads out there for that small bore are cathedral and they work better for port velocity than volume, you have to have RPM's to get that velocity.

Someone had a small bore rectangular port head if I remember right.
Mast and I think Promax now has something.

I believe BTR has a canted valve rec port head in the works as well.

Paul.Kaos, who cares about off throttle torque? Off throttle would mean at idle. At idle torque is meaningless. Unless you mean off idle torque. Regardless, I'm intrigued by your statement. Please show evidence/proof of your statement, whether you meant off idle, or off throttle. I've seen dyno tests on Engine Masters that show no difference. Something tells me you also ride a Harley Davidson, because Harley championed undersquare engines for many decades, and still do......

I have off-throttle torque with my 6.0l in my MCSS... it's called side stepping the Clutch at 4500 RPM or so. Auto car get you a 4000+RPM Convertor and party.

I've found that's cheaper than some one-off frankenfuck build for discussion purposes..
